Winningest Coach In Oregon H.S. History Resigns, Says He Still Wants To Coach

Mike Doherty, the winningest high schoool basketball coach in the state of Oregon with an overall record of 825-364, has resigned from his job as head boys coach at Oregon City High after 12 years. Doherty, 74, says he wants to coach again and said his decision was based upon the exemplary girls program at the school, which caused competition over fundraising and other issues.
