Magee Passes Knight With 903rd Victory

In front of a standing-room only crowd of 1,300, Philadelphia University (Pa.) coach Herb Magee passed Bobby Knight on the all-time men's basketball wins list with his 903rd victory — a 76-65 win over Goldey-Beacom. Magee is the NCAA's all-time leader in wins now. Don Meyer is men's college basketball's all-time leader but some of his wins came at the NAIA level.
