Legendary Pa. H.S. Coach Retiring

Ray Bartha, the 34-year coaching veteran and girls basketball coach at Apollo-Ridge (Pa.), announced he is retiring from coaching. He made the announcement after a 42-41 loss to South Fayette in the first round of the WPIAL Class AA playoffs Tuesday. Bartha won 536 games, 11 section titles and one Class AA title (1991) in his career.
