Legendary Girls Coach McCool Passes Away

Barbara McCool, the legendary girls basketball coach at Mardela High (Md.), who eclipsed the 600-win mark last season, has lost her battle with cancer. She passed away Wednesday at the age of 71. McCool coached basketball for 44 years, including last season when she was being treated for lymphoma.
