Bulgarian Coach Conducts Post-Game Interview In Mime

Metro.co.uk

Levski Sofia’s Konstantin ‘Titi’ Papazov, was fined £1,200 by the Bulgarian basketball federation for bringing the game into disrepute after remarks he made following Levski’s victory over Rilski Sportist.

So, after his side’s 96-87 win over Spartak Pleven last Friday, Papazov responded to journalists’ questions with a series of animated gestures.

After finding his voice again, the coach said: ‘Well, I'm obliged to answer the reporters' questions and I think they understood everything I wanted to say.

‘So, I'm considering whether to continue in this way in the future. I don't think it's a bad idea.’

Papazov, the former national team coach, was fined 2,600 levs (£1,118) for bringing the game into disrepute after his comments following Levski’s 73-70 victory over Rilski Sportist.
