Iowa State Bypassed Diversity Rules When Hiring Hoiberg

Iowa State is being criticized by George Raveling, former University of Iowa head men's basketball coach and founding member of the National Association of Black Coaches and Administrators, for its rapid hiring of Fred Hoiberg for its open basketball position. Raveling says the school bypassed its own diversity rules and procedures. Iowa State president Gregory Geoffroy defending the decision.
