Cynthia Cooper-Dyke Hired To Coach UNC-Wilmington

Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, who is set to be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame this summer, has been hired as the new women's coach at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Cooper-Dyke has been coaching at Prairie View since 2005. In 2008, Prairie View was placed on four years probation for major violations, including cash paid to players, out-of-season practices and an improper meeting with a recruit.
