8th Grade Female Player Offered Scholarship To Michigan

Hailey Kontny, 13, has been offered a scholarship to play basketball at Michigan starting in the fall of 2014. Kontny, currently an eighth grader at Superior Middle School (Wis.), will wait an undetermined length of time before accepting any college offers. The scholarship was offered by Wolverines head coach Kevin Borseth who relayed the information through Kontny's coach (college coaches cannot contact players this young).

dont no if this is a good idea?? get the kids hopes up and things dont work out for various reasons?? will work with only a few kids??
